Privacy Policy
Last updated: 22 October 2026
1. Controller
The controller under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) is Volodymyr Sechkin, trading as Digitoll, Ohlsdorfer Straße 37a, 22299 Hamburg, Germany. Email: contact@digitoll.eu.
2. Website hosting and access information
Our website is provided through the Wix platform. When you visit it, technical access information may be processed, including your IP address, time of access, pages requested and browser and device information. This serves to deliver the website, ensure stability, troubleshoot errors and protect its security. The legal basis is Article 6(1)(f) GDPR, reflecting our legitimate interest in maintaining a secure and reliable website. The service provider is Wix.com Ltd. and, where applicable, Wix's associated processors. Further information: https://www.wix.com/about/privacy.
3. Contact form and Wix Contacts
Our B2B contact form accepts business enquiries. We process the required fields Name, Company, Email Address and Message to respond and, where appropriate, discuss potential cooperation. The legal basis is Article 6(1)(b) GDPR for contractual or pre-contractual enquiries, or Article 6(1)(f) GDPR for other legitimate business correspondence.
Submissions are stored in Wix Forms. Name, company and email address are also used to create or update contact records in Wix Contacts. The site owner and staff with appropriate access rights may access this information. The Wix account review identified only the owner's account as currently authorised.
Email notifications to the Wix owner and push notifications are enabled for new submissions. The Wix account email address is a Gmail address. Sending a notification does not remove the submission from Wix Forms. We do not use enquiry details for unsolicited marketing newsletters without a separate lawful basis.
4. Spam protection: reCAPTCHA and Wix filters
We use the Wix “Advanced and reCAPTCHA” setting to protect the contact form against automated submissions and misuse. This includes Google's invisible reCAPTCHA and further filtering by Wix. These mechanisms may collect or assess technical information and aspects of interaction with the form to distinguish human activity from automated behaviour. Google may process information in this context. Further information: https://policies.google.com/privacy.
To the extent permitted under the GDPR, processing for spam prevention is based on Article 6(1)(f) GDPR, reflecting our legitimate interest in securing our communication channels. If the technology accesses or stores information on your device in a manner requiring consent under Section 25 TDDDG, that consent must be obtained beforehand. The precise implementation and applicable consent requirements must be verified before publication.
5. Email correspondence
If you contact us by email, we process your email address, message and other information you provide to handle your enquiry. Depending on the circumstances, the legal basis is Article 6(1)(b) or (f) GDPR and, where statutory record-keeping rules apply, Article 6(1)(c) GDPR. Form notifications currently go to the Gmail address of the Wix account owner. The email provider serving contact@digitoll.eu remains to be confirmed separately; this policy does not assume that Google Workspace is in use.
6. Cookies, similar technologies and statistics
Wix may use technically necessary cookies and similar technologies to deliver and secure the site. Platform-level statistical functions such as Wix Analytics may also be present. The website review found no separately installed Google Analytics tags, advertising pixels or custom scripts. This does not establish that all cookies and similar technologies are strictly necessary.
Section 25 TDDDG governs storing information on, or accessing information from, a visitor's device. Unless a statutory exception applies, prior consent is required, and any related processing of personal data based on consent is governed by Article 6(1)(a) GDPR. Strictly necessary processing may rely on Article 6(1)(f) GDPR or another applicable legal basis. The live site's actual cookies, categories, providers and retention periods, and any required consent solution, must be established and implemented before publication.
7. Recipients and transfers outside the EEA
Wix, Google and their relevant subcontractors may process personal data in connection with hosting, form management, spam protection and business correspondence. Processing outside the European Economic Area is possible. Where Chapter V GDPR applies, transfers require a relevant adequacy decision under Article 45 GDPR or suitable safeguards under Article 46 GDPR, such as standard contractual clauses. The providers and transfer mechanisms actually used must be verified against current contractual and privacy documentation.
8. Retention
We retain personal data only for as long as needed to handle an enquiry or manage any resulting business relationship. Longer retention may be necessary to comply with legal obligations or to establish, exercise or defend legal claims. Technical and security data are handled according to the operational retention arrangements of the providers concerned. When retention purposes and statutory grounds no longer apply, the information is deleted or anonymised.
9. Your rights and complaints
Under the GDPR, you have rights of access (Article 15), rectification (Article 16), erasure (Article 17), restriction of processing (Article 18), where applicable data portability (Article 20), and objection to processing based on legitimate interests (Article 21). Consent may be withdrawn at any time with future effect. Contact: contact@digitoll.eu.
You may also lodge a complaint with a data protection authority, including the Hamburg Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information: https://datenschutz-hamburg.de.
10. Automated decisions and changes
We do not make automated decisions, including profiling within the meaning of Article 22 GDPR, as part of the website services described here. Automated spam filters may flag submissions as spam; this is not such a decision with legal or similarly significant effects. We may update this policy if website functions, service providers or legal requirements change.
